How a project comes together

1

A homeowner requests help, or is referred by the City of Longview or another agency.

2

Connect Longview reviews the request and confirms the homeowner qualifies.

3

A volunteer group is matched to the project and a workday is scheduled.

4

The group completes the work, and Connect Longview works with the homeowner to connect them with agencies that may help with their other needs.

Connect Longview 2025 testimonial

I can't explain how much this means to both of us. We've had a hard go of the last 5-6 years... it felt like everything was just bad after bad. And we got low low. We tried to stay on top of stuff but depression has had us in a choke hold. Thank you for the hand up and not just a hand out. This is a turning point in our lives. People love, care and give to people they don't know. It is beautiful, and saying we are grateful doesn't seem like enough.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
